TryOuts are free and open to players of all levels from all areas. We encourage players to give it their best while are tryouts. We do not discriminate against race, religion, national origin, color, gender or income, but we do discriminate towards the best athletes or the players with the best skills and abilities.

Players will be ranked according to abilities & skills

Players not selected for a team will be maintained in a waiting list and if positions are made available within a team, players will be called from this list and offered a spot. The list of players will also be made available to Division 2 teams formed through Quest Youth Soccer to make the best Division 2 teams within BAYSA.

Player and Team Cost

UA Club Registration  $25, Uniform fees average $165  (2 jerseys, 2 pair of socks, shorts, 2 training shirts with numbers)and depending on what the rest of the team gets the cost could be higher. We use Adidas Uniforms and samples are made available through SoccerTime.

New players should expect to pay between $200-300 for registration in order to pay for club fee, uniform, EDDOA/S2 league and trainer fees once they are accepted to a team. Returning players will have to pay considerably less since they already have a uniform. A check is usually made to the club for registration an uniforms and a check is made to the team treasurer towards EDDOA/S2 and trainer fees. This is very typycal for most competitive clubs, some teams may have all moneys paid to the team treasurer who will them pay whomever needs to be paid.

UA is in the 2nd year cycle for uniforms. So by fall 2009 everyone gets a new uniform. Current team players do NOT have to pay for a new uniform, but non UA players joining an existing team or a new team will have to pay this fee.

Team fees will average $9,000 to 15,000 per team per year for EDDOA,S2, tournament fees and trainer fees. This will average $80 or $90 per player per month for 10 months.

Trainers can charge anything between $65 to $100 or more per session depending on qualifications and licensing of trainer

Player average expense will be $900 per year, but could be more depending on what other tournaments team signs up, or less depending on how many fundraisers your particular team works for.

We encourage teams to solicit sponsorship and or fund raisers in order to maintain cost down for the team.

Teams are responsible for setting up a team bank account and to have a team treasurer which will be responsible for collecting and paying fees and responsible for communicating the team account balances and other financial issues to the rest of the team.

EDDOA and S2 will typically request a deposit  of $500 per team as a registration fee for the upcoming season. The fee is usually due sometime in July. Coaches will either pay upfront and the team will reinburse you back once season begins or your team account will be used towards the deposit.
