2008 STYSA SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Michael Torre of BAYSA’s U-18 United Alliance has been selected as the 2008 STYSA Scholar Athlete of the Year. Michael is the captain of his Super-2 team, which has won the STYSA state championship in their age bracket for the second year in a row. He currently is a senior and plays for Clear Lake High School. The award presentation will be at the Awards Banquet at the STYSA Winter state meeting on Feb. 2 in Round Rock, Texas.
