    UTEP forward Tameka Sumter has been rewarded for her fantastic junior campaign, as she was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) all-region third team the organization announced recently. It marks the second straight year that Sumter has been so distinguished.

    University of Houston senior goalkeeper Shelby Scott was named to the Conference USA All-Academic First Team, while sophomore midfielder Islara Rodriguez earned second-team honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

    Longtime TCU photographer Linda Kaye died Sunday night after a bout with cancer. "Linda Kaye is a TCU legend and we are deeply saddened by her death," TCUathletics director Danny Morrison said.
