Our annual General Meeting will be Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 at the Alvin Library at 7pm.
We need at least one person from each Fall team to attend. However, up to 3 people from each team can vote in the election.
The agenda for the meeting is:
1. Approve 2008 minutes
2. Executive board member elections
3. Spring Soccer
4. Recruit new board members
5. New Business
Please plan on attending this very important meeting. It should not last more than an hour.
Brendan Keyes, a former professional soccer player for the Hurricanes and sanctioned pro coach , is available for one on one personal training. Congratulations to the Boys U12 Division II Thunderbirds for winning the State Championship for the Fall 2008-2009 Season.
The Alvin Youth Soccer Club is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer for children between the ages of 4 and 19. The club teaches good sportsmanship, encourages healthy competition and the development of good soccer skills, in a safe environment. The goal is for all children in the club to have fun learning and playing soccer.
